Hosomaki is the family that runs models and moves work between them — inference servers, gateways, and the schedulers that keep long jobs alive. Reach for it when the question is what generates the tokens, or what retries the step that failed. Futomaki holds the data these services read and write; nigiri is the interface a person sits in front of.
